This year, for the first time in the history of our festival, we’d like to present the competition section. We’ve included 5 full-length documentary movies chosen by the selectors from Wroclaw Film Foundation. We were looking for the best new titles that touch the subject of city and architecture. And which are doing it in attractive and intelligent way.

In competition we’re going to have: “BIG time” telling the story of Bjarke Ingels – the fenomenal Dunnish architect; “Whose City?” focusing on the changes in Berlin since the German reunification; “Bauhaus Spirit” – bringing us closer to the assumptions of the famous art school; “City of the Sun” – a film about the fallen, post industrial town in Georgia and finally – “Dispossession. The Great Social Housing Swindle” about the sell-out of the social houses in Great Britain.

The winner will receive 1000 Euro prize. He’ll be chosen by the professional Jury composed of: Juho-Pekka Tanskanen (the director of “Waiting for Barcelona”); Nadia Parfan (Artistic Director of the International Festival of Film and Urbanism “86” in Slawutycz, Ukraine) and Aleksandra Hamkało (actress and organiser of Bakalie Wroclaw).
